Ettore Randazzo, founder ofRandazzo Law Firmtogether with his brotherLawyer Marcello Randazzo, was a Syracusan criminal lawyer who held various managerial positions in theUnion of Italian Criminal Chambers,which he chaired from 6-10-02 to 8-10-06.For over a decade he was National Responsible and Scientific Director of the National School of high specialized qualification chaired by the Scientific Committee of the International Superior Institute of Criminal Studies (ISISC), as well as the LA.PEC (Permanent Laboratory for Examination and Counter-examination) , a unique association in Italy because it is made up of highly respected Magistrates and Lawyers, as well as university professors.
He is the author of numerous scientific works, including some monographic works, published by the publishing houses GIUFFRÈ, CEDAM, GIAPPICHELLI, IPSOA and IL SOLE 24 ORE-GUIDE TO LAW. The subjects treated with preference are the ethics, the strategy and the technique of the criminal lawyer, the cross examination, as well as the defensive investigations.
In addition to strictly professional monographic works, he published: for Sellerio types, "The lawyer and the truth", in 2003 (four editions), for which he received the "Capalbio" and "Otranto" awards, and in September 2015 an updated re-edition; in July 2006, “La justice despite” (four editions). He also wrote, together with Emanuele Montagna, "And they defend it as well ..." a theatrical work (Giuffrè, Law and Rovescio series) staged at the Goldoni theater in Venice on 25 September 2008 (and replicated at the Duse Theater in Bologna on 12 and 13 October 2009), for which he received the Goldoni award; in April 2012, for the types of the ETS of Pisa, he published “And perhaps a condemnation to silence”; in November 2015 the novel "Doppio Inganno", for the types of the ANORDEST.
